My friend's daughter Miranda is doing well in school and is fond of basketball besides computers. Of course she knows her teen-friends problems. When she was thirteen years old, she felt that something changed in her. Miranda couldn't explain it to Mom but addressed her Aunt Sandra to help her. It was a challenge for adults to talk to teens. All the information she had was the worn one. Aunt Sandra and Miranda's Mom spent hours and agreed what kind of talk should be held with Miranda. At this very age as they know an extraordinary interest appears to the opposite sex. Miranda's mother knew that a guy of rich people was loved by her daughter. They were spending much time playing games on the computer and visiting parks and gardens on Sundays. But nothing special was happening. They were crazy about basketball and fashion magazines - sometimes Miranda even looked through mother's 'Vogue' but everything was under control. Aunt Sandra was not confused - she started to discuss some teens' problems with her niece. She told Miranda about her childhood and youth years and shared the problems they had then. No drugs, no alcohol, no bad habits - they just had no time for these things. Aunt Sandra was talking about her first love. Her husband was a military man and responsible for some questions in the army. Yes, she was interested in fashion (all girls do it at least) but it went on by itself. This information was very useful for the girl. In her turn, Miranda told about some serious problems that had happened with her teen-friends. For example, one of the girls in school is used to attending disco club and spending lots of money on buying some drugs. Miranda asked what they should do in this situation. Aunt Sandra advised her to inform that girl's mother and tried to invite her to her place. Miranda seemed to realize the matter after conversation and calmed down. Aunt Sandra and her niece have been close friends ever since.
